New Additions: A Breakdown by Country
According to the latest update, the following countries have seen new additions to their sanctions lists:
- Russia: 15 new individuals and 5 entities have been added to the sanctions list, bringing the total to 1,443 individuals and 276 entities.
- Iran: 20 new individuals and 3 entities have been added, increasing the total to 1,236 individuals and 184 entities.
- North Korea: 12 new individuals and 2 entities have been added, bringing the total to 842 individuals and 120 entities.
- Cuba: 8 new individuals and 1 entity have been added, increasing the total to 242 individuals and 72 entities.
- Venezuela: 10 new individuals and 1 entity have been added, bringing the total to 222 individuals and 54 entities.

As part of their efforts to improve user experience, OFAC has launched a user survey to gather feedback on their website. The survey will be accessible until December 30, 2024, and will help inform the development of new features and resources.
